Logo

The BrowserPod lockup and how to treat it.

Our logo is the BrowserPod lockup: the pod mark (two stacked, open pods) beside the logotype. It is deliberately calm: the brand world around it is surreal, so the mark itself stays flat, solid and steady, the one fixed point in the dream.

Assets: /brand/logo-dark.png (Void, for light backgrounds) and /brand/logo-light.png (Cream, for dark backgrounds).

Color

The lockup exists in exactly two colorways:

  • Cream #e5e5d6 on dark backgrounds (Void, the Night shades, imagery). Cream is a core color in the palette, and the logo is its primary home.
  • Void #0d0d0e on light backgrounds (Daydream, Mist, pale imagery).

Cream BrowserPod lockup over pink plaza render

Cream over imagery, placed on a calm region.

Never set the lockup in Portal Blue or any accent color, and never place it over a busy area of an image. Over photography or renders, position it on a calm, low-detail region.

Clearspace and minimum size

  • Clearspace: keep a margin of 1x on all sides, where x is the height of the lowercase letters in the logotype. Nothing enters this space: not text, not the grid, not architecture.
  • Minimum size: never reproduce the lockup below 120px wide on screen or 30mm wide in print. If the space is smaller than that, use the pod mark alone.

Don’ts

The brand’s visual world is allowed to warp; the logo is not.

  • Don’t apply gradients (nothing in the brand uses gradients; see Color).
  • Don’t stretch, skew, warp or rotate it. The grid warps; the logo doesn’t.
  • Don’t extrude it into 3D. Early-2000s 3D is an imagery motif, not a logo treatment.
  • Don’t add outlines, strokes or shadows.
  • Don’t recolor it in accents or place it on clashing accent backgrounds.
  • Don’t retype the logotype in Stack Sans Text or redraw the pod mark. Always use the supplied assets.
  • Don’t separate the pod mark from the logotype except at small sizes (see minimum size above).

Co-branding

When locking up with a partner logo, separate the two marks by the width of the capital “B” in the logotype, with a thin vertical rule if needed. The partner mark should match the optical height of the pod mark, never exceed it.
