Engage
Building active, two-way relationships with developers.
Owner: Undefined
The engage pillar of our strategy describes how we build active, two-way relationships with developers and prospective users once they have been exposed to BrowserPod. Exposure alone is insufficient; engagement converts passive awareness into active participation.
Properties
- Community: Spaces where users interact with BrowserPod and with each other (e.g., Discord, GitHub Discussions, forum)
- Touchpoints: Structured interactions that invite response (e.g., polls, AMAs, feedback surveys, onboarding emails)
- Response: How we acknowledge and act on user contributions (e.g., issue triage, feature request tracking, community shoutouts)
- Retention signals: Behavioural indicators that distinguish engaged users from passive ones (e.g., repeat visits, sandbox creation frequency, community posts)
- Automation: Systems that nurture engagement at scale without manual intervention (see BrowserPod User Automation)
Meter
Community growth rate, response time to user contributions, ratio of exposed users converting to engaged users.
Notes
- Community ownership is undefined and must be assigned
- No structured feedback loop currently exists between user engagement and product decisions
